God bless the internet!

Today, I received a big parcel full of lovely gifts from someone I’ve never met!
I have been following a lovely lady on twitter called Janine (@Jannerspreggers) for a good couple of years now as we were both going through IVF and the support for it on Twitter is amazing when you find others going through the same thing.
Janine now has her little miracle Ethan, and my boy is on the way! Today I opened the door to the courier and Janners had thoughtfully packaged up a big parcel full of muslins, baby clothes, muslins, bibs etc that Ethan doesn’t need any more, all of which are in fantastic condition and had sent them all the way from Newcastle to little old me in Surrey!
As I mentioned, I have never met Janine, but doesn’t it just go to show that the internet really can be amazing!

  1. I have been blown away by the amount of GENUINE friendship that can be struck up on twitter and via blogging. What a lovely, thoughtful thing to do 🙂

  2. That is so lovely! I’ve been very fortunate to meet some lovely people through the internet. It’s always nice to hear a ‘good news’ story like this one 🙂

  3. I completely agree, I don’t know what I would do without my “internet” friends and yes they are my friends, they are there supporting me and cheering me on with whatever I do. And being an expat it’s really hard sometimes and they have got me through some hard times. As I am sure you are the same with the IVF and your support twitter friends. It’s amazing how a stranger can touch our life isn’t it? I love this post. I think more people should pay it forward and do something great like this for someone they only know over the internet. Peace and love go a long way in life. thank you so much for linking up to Share With me. #sharewithme
